Technical Data
Set up. Switch on. Inspect.
Where you previously had to set up and align lamps, tripods, controllers, and cameras individually, the OTcam does it all in one device. Align the sensor head, connect it to your laptop, start the measurement in DisplayImg and the phase image reveals what lies beneath the surface. Large areas with complex geometries can be captured in a single measurement.

FAQ
Our frequently asked questions, answered quickly and easily.
Can the OTcam be used on a robot?
Yes. Its compact design allows direct mounting on robot arms, enabling automated, high-throughput inspection in series production.
mehr erfahrenWhich materials is the OTcam suited for?
Primarily fiber-reinforced plastics such as CFRP and GFRP used in aerospace and automotive. Large areas with complex geometries can be inspected in a single measurement.
mehr erfahrenWhat do I need to operate it on site?
A 230 V outlet (16 A). Inspection head, laptop and DisplayImg Professional software form a matched system. At 8.7 kg, the OTcam can be taken wherever the component is, for example the hangar. The robust lock-in technique delivers reliable results even outside the lab and in difficult environments.
mehr erfahrenWhat is the difference between OTcam and OTvis?
OTvis is a modular system: lamps, tripods, controller and IR camera are set up individually. The OTcam combines the same lock-in technique with the core of the EDECAM in one compact inspection head. This makes it mobile and easy to mount on robot arms, with comparable sensitivity and measurement quality.
mehr erfahrenWhich software is used to evaluate the measurements?
DisplayImg Professional, edevis’ own thermography software. It controls the OTcam, computes phase images from the measurement sequence using Fourier analysis and reveals defects independently of surface variations. Project management and reporting are built in.
